    Deputy Farm Manager

    Responsibilities:

    Operational Oversight:

    • Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing day-to-day farm activities.
    • Implement and manage integrated farm operations to optimize efficiency.

    Agric Economics Expertise:

    • Apply agricultural economic principles to enhance farm profitability and sustainability.
    • Analyze market trends, pricing, and financial data for strategic decision-making.
    • Crop and Livestock Management:
    • Supervise and coordinate planting, cultivation, and harvesting activities.
    • Oversee livestock care, ensuring health and productivity.

    Resource Management:

    • Manage farm resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.
    • Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize resource utilization.
    • Innovation and Technology:
    • Stay updated on advancements in agricultural technology.
    • Integrate innovative solutions for improved farm operations.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement and maintain best practices for sustainable and responsible farming
    • Provide leadership and guidance to farm staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
    • Budgeting and Financial Management:
    • Contribute to budget development and financial planning.
    • Monitor expenditures and optimize financial performance.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics.
    • 2- 3 years Proven experience in integrated farm operations, including production and implementation.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret agricultural and financial data.
    • Knowledge of modern farming practices and technologies.
