Delivery Bus Driver at Vendease

Job Summary

As a Vendease delivery driver, your primary responsibility will involve operating the assigned delivery van. Your goal is to ensure the timely and pristine delivery of client orders while upholding the highest standards of service.

What You’ll do

• Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
• Collect and file a signed copy of proof of delivery.
• Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, and complaints.
• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers' locations in a timely manner.
• Plan and execute delivery routes to optimize time and resources while ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Handle and load/unload products with care, ensuring their integrity during transport.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering orders courteously and professionally, addressing customer inquiries or concerns when necessary.
• Accurately verify and confirm orders with customers, obtaining necessary signatures or approvals for deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks, reporting any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all state and federal traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a clean driving record.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team, providing updates on delivery status and any issues encountered.
• Maintain a neat and organized vehicle, ensuring all required documents and equipment are in place.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous and food product materials if applicable.

Requirements

• Minimum O’level certificate.
• 5 years of driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and LASDRI permit. 
• Physically able to load and unload ​products.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
• Must own a smartphone. 
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed​.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes within the assigned delivery area.
