Our client, A fintech company is a purposive technology company focused on data analytics and digital transformation is looking to fill in the  role of a data scientist with 7-9 year experience in similar role.

JOB SUMMARY

As a data scientist, the company relies on you to build data products to extort valuable business awareness. In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, statistics and math. you will need good skills in problem solving and critical thinking, they are essential for interpreting data. As a data scientist you should also have passion for machine-learning and research. Your goal will be to help the company analyze trends to make better decisions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Identify valuable information sources and automate collection processes
• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
• Study large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Develop predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
• Combine models through ensemble modeling
• Present information using data visualization techniques
• Propose solutions and strategies to business problems
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

JOB REQUIREMENT

• 7 - 9 years’ experience as a data scientist
• Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
• Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling experience
• Experience with using programming languages (e.g, Java, Python etc.)
• Comfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects
