Job Description:
A well-known finance giant is seeking to employ a Data Architecture Associate to join the team based in Nigeria.  The incumbent will be responsible for providing architectural and integration solutions relevant to the data life cycle management framework. This role supports architectural change management and implements technical components relevant to enabling the creation, organization, enrichment, integration, search ability and utilization of connected insights from diverse enterprise data sets.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead the Data Architecture & integration functional group in all activities as relevant to its established objectives
• Lead activities related to the organization, management and utilization of all data assets in line with established standards by establishing the right architectures
• Lead relevant processes related to the implementation of data architecture
• Responsible for ensuring all documentation of data landscape is up to date
• Lead all data architectural change management activities and provide impact assessment where applicable
• Support design, development and maintenance of relevant data repositories in line with corporate standards and enterprise data strategy
• Support the development/maintenance of architectural artefacts e.g. catalogs, mappings, viewpoints, models, perspectives etc.
• Lead the socialization of architectural standards & other related insights by conducting information sessions with relevant stakeholders in line with overarching objective of data driven enterprise transformation
• Lead the development of methods for monitoring and reporting on relevant KPI's where applicable to data architecture
• Lead development of all architectural related work products according to established standards
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture team as required

 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or Other relevant Science disciplines
• 6 years’ experience working in data architecture & data management related roles
• Experience with big data technologies
• Experience with various database platforms/technologies
• Experience with data structures & algorithms
• Experience with data modeling and data architectures
