Data Analyst at Redwire Marketing Consulting

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting data-driven decisions by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data for the business and its clients. Your work will involve turning complex data into clear, actionable insights, identifying patterns and trends, and providing reports that support strategic planning and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing data strategies (databases, data collection system, data analytics etc.) that provide statistical efficiency
• Interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques
• Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining database systems
• Identifying and interpreting trends in complex data sets to non-technical terms
• Managing user and user roles
• Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines
• Commissioning and decommissioning data sets
• Managing and designing data report systems to suit the company’s standards
• Filtering and cleaning data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Working closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Creating analytical reports based on project scope
• Monitoring and analysing industry trends
• Training end-users on new reports and dashboards
• Identifying new process improvement opportunities
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Information Management, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
• Knowledge of reporting packages like Business Objects etc. databases (SQL, Oracle, Python etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, R programming, ETL work frames)
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SAS, SPSS etc.)
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database designs development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amount of data with high amount to details and accuracy
