We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making and improve operational performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business operations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports.
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
Perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic and operational initiatives.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reports.
Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency where applicable.
Maintain documentation of data sources, methodologies, and reporting procedures.
Ensure compliance with organizational data governance and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, dashboards, data validation, and lookup functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledge of Python or R is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
