Data Analyst at CredPal

Purpose Statement

We are looking to hire a Data Analyst who will be responsible for managing our data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data and analytics, a very fine eye for details, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases with the ability to use data to inform strategy and decision-making. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality 
• Conduct data and statistical analysis to design efficient operating systems with maximum optimization.
• Designing dashboards and data summaries for technical and non-technical audiences and facilitating the implementation of business strategies and missions.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
• Conceive, plan, and prioritize data projects.
• Build analytic systems and predictive models.
• Test performance of data-driven products.
• Visualize data and create reports.
• Experiment with new models and techniques.
• Align data projects with organizational goals.
• Work with the engineering team to automate and implement machine learning projects.

Preferred Qualification & Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role as a data analyst.
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• An analytical mindset and problem-solving come naturally to you.
• Experience using Microsoft PowerBI to create reports and dashboards
• Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Comfortable with identifying relevant metrics, and execution processes and keeping an eye out for details.
• Excellent logical thinking, keen user insight, and creative, and habitual data-driven working methods.
• Highly organized, multi-tasking skills, take ownership.
• Proven track record of excellence, delivering outcomes with integrity and efficiency.
• A high degree of intelligence, communication, and analytical skills
• Business Intelligence tools- SQL Server, Power BI, etc.
• Financial markets experience is preferred.
