Cyber & Network Security Specialist at HelloMe Limited

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL IDEALLY HAVE TO:

• Design, implement, and manage secure network solutions to protect against advanced threats while supporting business needs.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats using security tools and software.
• Ensure the security of financial transactions and customer data.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities specific to the banking sector.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of Four (4) years proven work experience in network and cybersecurity roles preferably within banking or financial services industry, Fintech, and digital banking environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, CompTIA Security+).
• Proven experience in network and cybersecurity roles, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Strong understanding of financial regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cybersecurity.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.
• Familiarity with cloud security practices and solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
• Knowledge of ethical hacking and penetration testing techniques.
• Experience in incident response and digital forensics.
