    Customer Service Receptionist Job Description

    Job brief

    Are you a customer care professional in the renewable field looking to take your career in a new direction? Do you want to be part of the pioneers in our expansion? We are looking for a competent Customer Service Receptionist who will oversee our front desk and the first point of contact to our customers. You will be attending to customers calls, e- mails and face to face

    The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.

    The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.

    Responsibilities:

    • Attend to calls and to make calls to the customers when needed.
    • Maintain the track record of incoming and outgoing calls properly.
    • Perform clerical duties and needs to take care of all clerical work including couriers, faxes, and filling forms etc.
    • It will be the duty to keep the reception clear and maintain record shelves of internal communication held from front desk to other departments.
    • Provide information to the people regarding official timings and other circular information.
    • Ensure the queries of customers or clients are taken due care of and given proper attention.
    • Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)
    • Greet and welcome guests
    • Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
    • Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
    • Check, sort, and forward emails
    • Keep updated records and files
    • Monitor petty cash expenses and costs
    • Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules etc.)

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Proven experience as front desk representative, customer service agent or relevant position
    • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
    • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
    • Proficient in English (oral and written)
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
    • Strong communication and people skills
    • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Customer service orientation
    • Bachelors’ degree, additional qualifications will be a plus.
