    Customer Service Engineer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Customer Service Engineer to provide technical support, diagnostics, installation, maintenance, and repair services for a wide range of home appliances.
    • The ideal candidate must possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and hands-on experience working with household appliances.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair home appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, microwaves, cookers, water dispensers, and other household equipment.
    • Attend to customer complaints and provide prompt technical solutions.
    • Carry out installation, maintenance, and servicing of appliances at customer locations.
    • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal appliance performance.
    • Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
    • Educate customers on proper appliance usage and maintenance practices.
    • Recommend replacement parts and ensure proper inventory usage.
    • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary and follow up until resolution.
    • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and technical standards.
    • Maintain a professional relationship with customers and represent the company positively at all times.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Must have practical experience working with home appliances.
    • 3–5 years' experience in appliance repair, maintenance, or technical customer service.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems of household appliances.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
    • Good problem-solving and fault-diagnosis skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Must be physically fit and willing to travel within Lagos when required.
    • Gender: Male Preferred
    • Age Range: 29 – 40 years

    Preferred Skills:

    • Hands-on experience with major home appliance brands.
    • Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple service requests efficiently.
    • Good knowledge of customer service best practices.
