Crane Operator (200Tons) at NigerDock

Purpose:

• To safely operate cranes for lifting and moving heavy materials and equipment as directed.

Main Duties:

• Operate all-terrain cranes up to 200 tons and other mobile cranes as assigned.
• Check crane, wire ropes, hooks, and slings before use.
• Carry out daily maintenance and inspection of the crane.
• Follow all safety rules and supervisor instructions during lifting work.
• Work with riggers and signalers during lifting operations.
• Report any faults or safety issues immediately.
• Assist in simple site tasks like loading, unloading, or minor repairs when needed.

Requirements:

• Valid crane operator license.
• At least 5 years of experience operating heavy cranes.
• Must know how to read load charts and understand rigging signals.
• Physically fit and safety conscious.
• Able to show proof of previous crane operation.
