Our client, a leading Investment Bank is seeking to fill the role of a Corporate Finance, Capital Market Advisory Lead.

In this role, the suitable candidate will be responsible for the rigorous data analysis, documentation and packaging of information required for the efficient and speedy processing and delivery of corporate financing deals, as well as, meeting specified financial/operational targets.

Job Description:

• Provide Support to Head, Investment Banking in deal identification and origination.
• Actively identify and follow up on emerging market opportunities.
• Develop and articulate a comprehensive strategic Structuring framework for handling deals.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of overall Operational Plan/Budget for IBD for each financial year.
• Carry out design/structuring products/platforms for delivering/achieving advisory/capital raising targets for attained mandates.
• Assist in the process of developing capital raising windows both locally and offshore in line with the requirements of the target market.
• Prepare status reports on a periodic basis.
• Provide Transaction Execution/Management support to ensure cutting edge delivery of services that would surpass client’s expectations.
• Perform any other responsibilities as directed by the Head, Investment Banking from time to time.

Person Specification:

• 7-10+ years of professional work experience in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance
• First degree in any business-related course from a recognized institution
• An MBA or relevant MSc will be an added advantage
• CFA certification is required
• Industry knowledge of Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Structuring and Valuation are key to success in this role
