Corporate Communications Officer at Inland Containers

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Responsibilities
Responsible for creating and managing the perception of the organizationas a world-class brand.

• To create communications content on behalf of he organization for use in maintaining the company’s existing website, developing blog content and creating social media post to ensure company's footprint and achievements via the media.
• Source for business-wide success stories via business partners and clients.
• Build and manage relationships with the press in conjunction with sourcing interviews, opinions for editorials, articles, etc in a reader-friendly manner.
• Effectively design and execute internal and external communication strategies to ensure end to end stakeholder buy-in and engagement.
• Respond to media inquiries and perform media outreach to achieve brand placement in publications.

Requirements

• Minimum of First Degree / HND in Corporate Communications, Media, Business Administration, Social Sciences or any other relevant discipline is required.
• Minimum of 4 years cognate experience in media and communication related role.
• Good industry knowledge of terminal operations, logistics, shipping or freight forwarding.
