We are seeking a COREN-certified Electrical Engineer with strong technical expertise in electrical design and implementation to join our project team.
The ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience in electrical system design, installation, and supervision within construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design, plan, and implement electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects.
Prepare detailed electrical drawings, load calculations, and specifications in line with standards and regulations.
Supervise electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved designs and safety standards.
Inspect, test, and commission completed electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration of electrical components.
Prepare bills of quantities (BoQ), cost estimates, and material lists for electrical works.
Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality control standards.
Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and contractors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
COREN certification is mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design and implementation.
Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, or Revit MEP.
Sound understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
