Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook who can prepare a variety of Nigerian local meals and popular continental dishes.
• The ideal candidate should be passionate about food, creative with recipes, and able to maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and kitchen hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of local and continental meals.
• Ensure all meals are prepared on time and meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist with purchasing ingredients.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Properly store food items and handle kitchen equipment safely.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook or chef (home, restaurant, or catering).
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian cuisine and popular continental dishes.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of food safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary training or certification is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
