Job Overview:

The Content Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement, community growth, customer loyalty, and revenue.

This role combines storytelling, video editing, copywriting, digital content creation, and campaign insight to strengthen the company\\\' s online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with organizational  goals and target audience
• Create, write, and edit compelling content and videos for social media, blogs, newsletters, websites, and other digital platforms.
• Identify target audiences and tailor content to their interests, needs, and communication channels.
• Identify impactful stories from beneficiaries, volunteers, employees, partners, and community projects.
• Translate complex program outcomes and technical information into clear, compelling stories.
• Establish content themes, messaging pillars, tone of voice, and brand guidelines.
• Research emerging content trends and recommend innovative approaches.
• Develop stories that effectively communicate the organization\\\'s impact and the communities it serves.
• Write and edit articles, case studies, donor stories, success stories, press releases, speeches, and campaign materials.
• Develop and maintain website content that communicates the organization\\\'s programs, impact, and activities.
• Conduct keyword research and apply SEO principles to relevant content.
• Coordinate the production of photos, videos, graphics, infographics, podcasts, and other multimedia content.
• Manage digital marketing initiatives such as paid ads, influencer campaigns, referral programs, SEO and SEM, and conversion rate optimization.

Requirements:

• OND/HND/Bsc. In Mass Communication, English & Linguistics, Art, or other related courses.
• 3-4 years of experience as a content strategist with strong content creation, copywriting skills and a talent for storytelling.
• Strong video editing and production skills with proficiency in software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Experience developing content strategies that drive engagement, sales, and conversions.
• Knowledge of digital marketing campaigns, paid ads, and email marketing.
• Ability to plan, implement, and maintain structured content calendars.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to measure content performance and improve engagement and revenue outcomes.
• Digital Marketing and Google Analytics Certification are desirable but not compulsory
• Good knowledge of YobuTube management, SEO, algorithms, and best practices for audience growth 
• Ability to extract insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Clear presentation of ideas, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
