Job Description

• Salpha is looking for a talented and creative Content Creator to join the team.
• As the Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality and engaging video content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. Our ideal candidate should have passion for storytelling through video, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce high-quality content across various categories.
• This role involves conceptualising, filming, editing, and optimising video content for assigned social media platforms.

Responsibilities
Strategic Management and Innovation:

• Develop creative video ideas and concepts that align with the Salpha.
• Collaborate with the Communications Officer to align on the monthly content calendar.

Content Creation, Production and Technical Expertise:

• Write compelling scripts through thorough research and storytelling.
• Produce and edit high-quality video content for various platforms.
• Utilise video editing software to edit footage, add effects, and produce high-quality videos.

Category-Specific Content Management:

• Create content across multiple categories.
• Experiment with new content formats and styles to keep the content fresh and appealing.

Platform Optimization:

• Adapt videos to meet the specific requirements and trends of each social media platform.

Performance Analysis:

• Monitor video performance metrics and use insights to improve content strategies and engagement.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the creative and editorial teams to ensure video content supports broader team objectives and promotions.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project execution and alignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in video production, editing, and content creation.
• Proven experience in video production, shooting, and editing, preferably for social media platforms.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Capcut, Adobe Premiere or mobile editing apps) and mobile filming techniques.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging and informative scripts.
• Ability to conduct thorough research to produce accurate and informative content across various topics.
• A creative mindset with a strong visual aesthetic and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• A strong portfolio showcasing your video content creation skills is required. Preferred
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• May require occasional evening or weekend work to manage time-sensitive social media activities.
