Responsibilities

• Content Ideation and Strategy: Brainstorming new and creative content ideas based on audience research, industry trends, and brand goals. This involves developing a content calendar and planning what to create and when.
• Content Production: This is the core duty and can include a wide range of formats:
  • Writing: Crafting blog posts, articles, website copy, newsletters, emails, and social media captions.
  • Visual Media: Creating graphics, infographics, and other visual assets.
  • Video and Audio: Filming, recording, and editing videos (vlogs, short-form content) or podcasts.
• Editing and Proofreading: Polishing all content for accuracy, grammar, style, and tone to ensure it is high-quality and consistent with the brand's voice.
• SEO Optimization: Implementing basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles, such as keyword research, to ensure content is discoverable by search engines.
• Collaboration: Working with other teams, like marketing, design, and SEO specialists, to ensure content aligns with overall business objectives.
• Audience Engagement: Responding to comments, messages, and questions on social media and other platforms to foster a sense of community.
• Research: Staying up-to-date on industry news, trends, and competitor content to ensure their work remains relevant and competitive.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
