Dev-Afrique is seeking a dynamic full-time consultant who has relevant experience in in policy, governance, research and strategy. The role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of public policy, industry regulations and development, contributing to impactful project across various sectors.
Responsibilities
Lead monitoring, reporting and obtaining policy documents (i.e. laws, regulations, standards, guidelines, circulars, directions, etc.) across the African continent.
Conduct thorough research and analysis on policy, political and governance-related issues that could affect our clients in Nigeria and Africa.
Lead end-to-end planning and implementation of projects in Nigeria and across Africa.
Support in drafting communications materials such as, policy briefs and newsletters.
Infer and present research findings in clear and concise reports, briefs, and other formats.
Play an active role developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and maintain industry awareness
Requirements
Advanced degree in law, policy, statistics, political science and other related field
Minimum of five years of experience with policy analysis or regulatory affairs.
Familiarity with the policy and regulatory landscape in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with research and analysis tools, as well as computer software programs (spreadsheets, word processors, databases, and statistical packages).
