As the Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will deliver high-quality ophthalmic care, including medical and surgical management of eye conditions, while ensuring excellent patient outcomes and adherence to best clinical practices.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions
Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures with a high level of competence
Provide specialist consultation and develop treatment plans for patients
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or West African Postgraduate Medical College (WAPMC) or equivalent
Must be a certified Ophthalmologist
Valid MDCN license with current practicing certification
Strong experience in clinical and surgical ophthalmology
Excellent patient management and communication skills
