    Construction Project Manager

    About the job

    • To oversee all phases of the construction project assigned, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and budget.
    • Identify project objectives, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Establish and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
    • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
    • Allocate and manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
    • Ensure that the construction work meets all quality standards and specifications.
    • Implement corrective actions as needed to address any quality issues.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and government agencies.
    • Provide regular updates on project status, including progress reports and issues.
    • Facilitate meetings with team members and stakeholders to review progress and resolve issues.
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Address and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts.
    • Ensure that project changes and issues are documented and communicated effectively.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in the Construction industry.
    • Excellent organizational, leadership, and strong communication skills.
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
    • Familiarity with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
    • HND or Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
