Computer Vision Engineer at Odixcity Consulting

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply computer vision techniques for image recognition, object detection, and image segmentation tasks.
• Enhance algorithm efficiency and precision through optimization technique.
• Gather, prepare, and label image datasets for use in training and evaluating machine learning models.
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency during all stages of the model development lifecycle.
• Evaluate the performance of computer vision models using standard metrics such as accuracy, precision, and recall to ensure robust and reliable results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as; software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate computer vision solutions into real-world applications.
• Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in computer vision and machine learning to inform and enhance development efforts.
• Ensuring the privacy and security of visual data.
• Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure ongoing performance, accuracy, and reliability in production environments.
• Debug and fix issues in the existing computer vision system.
• Test and validate computer vision solutions and improve performance over time.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Computer Vision Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, and experience with computer vision libraries and frameworks.
• Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
• Experience with image recognition, tracking and 3D reconstruction.
• Strong understanding of linear algebra, optimization, probability and statistics.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant projects or contributions to open-source initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
