Compliance Officer at Ivorypay

Role Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure that Ivorypay adheres to legal standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• You will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance, mitigating risks, and safeguarding the integrity and reputation of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance systems, recommending and implementing improvements.
• Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance-related risks.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes, ensuring timely adjustments to internal policies and processes.
• Provide training and support to staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and manage reporting obligations effectively.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across all business operations.
• Prepare compliance reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related roles, preferably in fintech, financial services, or blockchain industries.
• Deep understanding of compliance principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification in compliance or related fields.
• Experience in fintech or blockchain compliance specifically.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements across multiple African markets.
