Completion Engineer at West African Exploration and Production (WAEP)

Role Purpose

Plan, design and support execution of safe, reliable and cost-effective well completion activities that deliver required production or injection performance throughout the well lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop completion basis of design, programmes and detailed equipment specifications.
• Design completion strings, tubing, packers, safety valves, sand-control and related completion systems. Perform completion engineering calculations and equipment selection in line with well objectives and operating envelopes.
• Support completion installation, commissioning and handover activities. testing,
• Participate in well integrity, completion risk and technical assurance reviews.
• Coordinate vendors and service companies and monitor technical/service performance.
• Support workover, recompletion and intervention opportunity evaluation.
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules and technical inputs to procurement and contracting.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in completion performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or relat Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8-12 years' relevant upstrec completion/well engineering experience, preferab including offshore operations.
• IWCF/IADC well-control certification and relevo professional certification are desirable.
