    CNG Maintenance Manager, DCT

    Description

    At Dangote Cement Transport, we are seeking a highly skilled CNG Maintenance Manager to join our team.

    As a CNG Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of our CNG equipment, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the maintenance and repair activities of CNG equipment.
    • Develop and implement maintenance strategies and procedures to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
    • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce good practices within the maintenance team.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and generate reports on equipment performance.
    • Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts and materials.
    • Coach and mentor maintenance technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CNG maintenance technology.

    Requirements

    • HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 18 years of cognate experience with proven working knowledge of CNG vehicle maintenance and at least 8 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • Strong knowledge of CNG systems, engines, and vehicle components.
    • Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in using troubleshooting and other relevant software.
