Job Details

• Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project;
• Produce/monitor project from inception to completion;
• Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data;
• Assist with the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for project;
• Carryout site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards;
• Carry out inspection and/or structural assessment of existing structures;
• Carryout engineering design and assessment of new and existing structures;
• Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents;
• Prepare bills of quantity;
• Prepares detailed dimensional drawings for civil/structural project;
• Report technical issues on site to unit head;
• Interpretation and application of Nexant policies and procedures to the construction activities;
• Ensure quality of work done is consistent with Nexant values;
• Ensure contractors meet agreed deadlines;
• Produce and contribute to project reports;
• Have understanding and good working knowledge of project plan;
• Actively involved in bringing new opportunities to the company;
• Performing all quality functions relating to the role in accordance with the organization’s QMS
