Civil Engineer - NYSC at Handyman Daige Properties

Job Summary

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented to join our engineering and project team in Abuja.
• This internship provides practical exposure to site supervision, structural design, and project coordination on real-world construction and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects.
• Support site engineers in supervising construction activities and ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Assist in conducting site inspections, take measurements, and prepare progress reports.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
• Assist in maintaining project records, drawings, and documentation.
• Use AutoCAD or similar tools to update and revise engineering drawings.
• Assist in collaboratingwith contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Other assigned duties.

Requirements

• B.Eng Degree in Civil Engineering (currently enrolled in NYSC).
• Basic knowledge of structural design and construction principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site and adapt to field conditions.
