Civil Engineer – Internship (NYSC) at Black Pelican Group

Job Summary:

The Black Pelican Group is seeking a motivated NYSC Corper with a background in Civil Engineering to join our project team. The successful candidate will assist in planning, designing, and supervising construction and interior fit-out projects, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering premium lifestyle solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support project planning, coordination, and execution under the supervision of senior engineers.
2. Assist in preparing structural designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
3. Conduct site inspections and provide progress reports.
4. Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
5. Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
6. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Currently serving as an NYSC Corper (deployed to Lagos).
3. Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, etc.).
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Eagerness to learn and contribute to high-quality project outcomes.
