As a Chinese Cook, you will be completely responsible for supervising and coordinating all areas within the culinary department. It will be your responsibility to ensure only the highest quality of food, through meticulous consistency, taste and presentation of all dishes.
Comfortable with working alongside the kitchen team, and providing support on an ongoing basis.
Monitor the food inventory on a monthly basis, maintaining proper control of orders and purchases and ensuring that all deliveries are received and handled efficiently and in line with company's standards.
Preparation of Chinese dishes, cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Maintain the food timetable.
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Order supplies and equipment
Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess a minimum of SSCE qualification with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
Should know how to prepare Chinese cuisines with or without supervision
