    Chief Technical Officer – CTO (Smart/Electronic Cards Business)

    Job summary

    This role will be responsible for setting the strategy and making executive technology decisions on behalf of the organization, including managing a technology budget and making the necessary investments to align the organization with its vision for technological needs. The role will require a passionate, business-oriented technology leader who can provide strategic leadership and management in the design and development of significant technical initiatives that support strategic business programs and facilitate revenue growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide high-level leadership to development projects that improve the
    • functionality, reliability, scalability, and security of the company's applications and systems.
    • Develop objectives and strategies for implementing innovative solutions while optimizing existing systems, applications, and information.
    • Designing and leading the implementation of strategy for technology while ensuring the implementation and enforcement of technology standards across the organization.
    • Drive a software development lifecycle process and in-house developed webbased applications Leading the development of skills and knowledge across the team.
    • Supervise all functional technology areas, including software design and development, enterprise architecture, quality assurance and testing, production operations, technical support, network, and information security management.
    • Provide input to annual budget exercises and manage organizational spending to set budgets on technological needs.
    • Plan and manage the IT environment, company's WAN, IP telephone changes etc.
    • Research, select, implement, and maintain IT solutions integrated with various data sources.
    • Ensure software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance and interface specifications.
    • Coordinate all operations activity, including integrating systems, roll out, and enhance the helpdesk.
    • Organize the administration and maintenance of Computer Systems
    • Interacts with internal clients on all levels to resolve IT-related issues and provides answers promptly.
    • Builds and maintains client relationships and purchases hardware and software products and other IT supplies.
    • Seeks to leverage IT trends to create business value consistent with the company's requirements and expectations.
    • Oversees the purchase and maintenance of internal hardware infrastructure for the company’s staff, such as Servers and laptops, and oversees the organization's information security, disaster recovery, and business continuity efforts.
    • Responsible for translating sales proposals from the Business Development Unit into technical realities.
    • Manage and develop infrastructure for significant web and e-commerce properties, delivering continual performance improvement.
    • Uses basic knowledge of general financial and accounting principles to understand and communicate how decisions affect the project's bottom line.
    •  Effect all other self-initiated or delegated assignments by direct supervisor or Managing director.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of B.S.c in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or other relevant field.
    • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in design and development, high-level technical competence
    • Deep knowledge of MS .NET, C#, SQL Server, Web services and related technologies.
