Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) who is a SEC-licensed sponsored individual to join Ploutos Asset Management, part of the Metro group. As the company is currently undergoing SEC licensing as a portfolio and fund management firm, the COO will play a critical role in overseeing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving the execution of investment and portfolio strategies across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all day- to -day operational activities related to Ploutos Asset Management.
• Develop and implement operational strategies in alignment with company goals.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance when receiving client funds.
• Ensure the company achieves and maintains full regulatory certification and ongoing compliance.
• Drive significant growth in the company’s Assets under Management within a defined strategic period.
• Establish and oversee robust systems and processes to ensure strong operational performance.
• Lead capital mobilization and investment execution.
• Continuous process improvement to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, and act as the primary liaison with regulators
• Lead, mentor, and support the operational team
• Collaborate with other executives and department heads to develop business plans, set goals, and ensure alignment across all functions.
• Prepare regular operational reports and present them to the MD and board of directors.

Key Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sponsored individual.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 8 -10 years’ experience in asset management, banking, or investment operations.
• Strong leadership skills and understanding of capital markets.
• Proven track record in compliance and operational management.
