    Chief Operating Officer - Real Estate Development

    Job Description

    • Harmony Gardens COO will manage all technical operations and drive project delivery for this company in all ramifications. 
    • Partner with business leadership in multiple functions to understand business objectives; define an Omni-channel applications strategy, roadmap, and supporting architecture to deliver the required capabilities; define and justify programs and projects; oversee and manage solution delivery.
    • We have been in operating for 10+ years, known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial development projects in Nigeria.
    • With a strong financial foundation and a strategic approach to land acquisition and project development, our company focuses on timely project delivery and exceptional customer relations, driven by a dedicated team and a robust sales network. 
    • The company has a proven track record in delivering projects and has a strong pipeline of new developments.
    • Your key responsibilities is digital operational leadership deputising the General Manager to make sure that Departmental Heads are accountable and deliver base on their KPIs and have them recorded with the HR/Admin Manager and Customer Relationship Manager to input themon the CRM and ERP.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for setting up and integrating platforms that drives new both online and offline activity to grow the e-business channel of the company’s growth strategy, through strategic, highly effective marketing campaigns with a focus on digital, social media, email and communication, including blogs and communities.
    • Lead a teams to deliver seamless customer experiences across a diverse digital and ecommerce landscape that may include but are not limited to opportunities for B2C portals or microsites, channel partner sites, digital and mobile applications, product distribution, order management and fulfilment, and/or in store and ecommerce operations.
    • Responsible for strategy, planning, implementation, support, and management of customer-facing applications and supporting systems.
    • Lead and direct a team of professionals who support, maintain, and enhance applications within an integrated ecosystem that includes Core business ERP, Payment gateway portal, Self-service portal and business process portals.
    • Lead the adoption of enterprise technologies/services that will drive analytics/reporting, order management and site operational standards needed to grow sales and market share through leveraging investments and capabilities, increasing efficiencies and consistencies, protecting the integrity of tools/platforms, and minimizing risks and redundancies.
    • Provide business and technical leadership based on deep and broad understanding of industry best practices and technical solution capabilities in order to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions that support and drive business results.
    • Responsible for the overall technological direction of the organization. Provide the organization with the vision to master information technology as a competitive tool.
    • Developing and enforce database policies and procedures to ensure the protection of the organization’s IT asset.
    • Ensure the integrity of the organization information such that decision and actions taken based upon the data processed by, stored in and moved through organization information system can be made with the assurance that the information has not been manipulated, the information is not subject to repudiation, the source of the changes to information can be determined as best as possible.
    • Oversee day-to-day digital operations across all divisions, including HR, IT, Development & Construction, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, and Procurement.
    • Ensure seamless coordination and communication between departments to achieve organizational goals.
    • Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance our CRM and ERP operational efficiency.
    • Analyze and enhance existing business processes and workflows by leading the implementation of ERP system (Qobrix), ensuring integration and alignment with business objectives.
    • Assist with recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team capable of meeting the company's growth objectives.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and accountability.
    • Ensuring all Departmental Heads remain accountable and consistently deliver on their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Monitoring and reviewing departmental performance metrics in alignment with organizational goals.
    • Coordinating with the HR/Admin Manager and Customer Relationship Manager to ensure accurate and timely input of departmental KPIs and performance updates into the company’s CRM and ERP systems.
    • Supporting the General Manager in operational oversight and contributing to strategic decision-making to improve efficiency and productivity across departments.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree, HND, PhDs / Doctorates, MBA Degree with 10 years work experience. 
    • Experience: Extensive experience in real estate development, ideally with a mix of large and boutique developers
    • Background: Strong background in development or project delivery, with comprehensive knowledge of the full project life cycle
    • Leadership: Proven ability to manage and lead multiple departments related to project delivery and business operations
    • Skills: Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Attributes: Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of driving operational efficiency and project delivery.
