    Chief Financial Officer

    Job Description

    • The Chief Financial Officer shall have the primary responsibility of supervising the financial, accounting, audit and fiscal aspects of the operations of the organization and the coordination of the supporting information systems and financial controls.
    • The role will also be responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control, as well as ensuring the safekeeping and updating of all legal documentation relating to the financial status of the company..
    • Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization s operations and business plans.
    • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
    • Develop financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
    • Protect company assets by ensuring proper procedures are followed for cash disbursements and receipts, reporting and tax items.
    • Advise executive leadership on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow and other strategic financial matters.
    • Ensure job costing accuracy by continuous communication with project managers about project set-up, on-going expenses and change orders
    • Develop and offer solutions for liquidity, treasury management, balance sheet improvement and overall financial health of the organization
    • Oversee and monitor the organization’s financial position, banking and financing activities and capital structure and monitor the respect of banking and financial covenants and hedging arrangements, as applicable
    • Develop and implement financial policies, maintaining the finance manual for the Company, ensuring that it remains current, relevant and accessible to staff.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with at least 15 experience.
