The CFIO will serve as both the financial steward and investment architect of the Group, providing strategic leadership across capital markets, investment product development, governance, risk, and enterprise value creation.
This role is positioned on a clear succession path to become the pioneer Managing Director of the investment subsidiary and ultimately the Group CEO.
The ideal candidate is a high-caliber finance and investment executive with a proven ability to design and scale sophisticated capital ecosystems.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Professional certification: CFA, ACCA, or ICAN (CFA strongly preferred).
15+ years’ senior leadership experience in finance, investment, capital markets, or real estate development.
Demonstrated success raising N5bn+ capital or equivalent for large-scale projects.
Strong track record in structuring investment products, JV deals, and development financing.
Advanced financial modelling, valuation, capital markets, and investment structuring expertise.
Board-level exposure and experience presenting to Finance, Audit, and Investment Committees.
