JOB SUMMARY
Our client is an IT Consulting firm, that delivers tech solutions to businesses to ensure processes are easier, faster and more reliable. They are situated and operate onsite at Yaba, Lagos.
The role holder has primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the company. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who is able to support both high-level complex accounting and finance responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning
- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting strategic initiatives
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
- Responsible for coordinating the annual operating plan and oversee the preparation of the annual budget and monitor its implementation
- Develop financial and tax strategies 5. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
- Lead the development and use of best-practice policies, practices, and tools that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, project management, cross team communications and workflow
- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
- Develop matrices that monitor Profit and Cost Units
General Operations
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
- Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced not limited to auditors, regulators and agencies
- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
- Implement operational best practices
- Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package
- Supervise acquisition due diligence and work with procurement/executive office on acquisitions
Financial/Treasury Operations
- Oversee the issuance, management and flow of financial information
- Using and integrating IT/Systems to improve accounting productivity and accuracy
- Provide strategic advice on potential returns and risks to the businesses through analysis of data and financial performance
- Report financial results to the board of directors
- Oversee the audit process
- Funding (In collaboration with Treasury)
- Cash balances and cash forecasts
- Arrange for debt and equity financing or spearhead all capital raising endeavors of the company
- Invest funds and lead investment decisions under the auspices of the CEO
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance with an MBA or relevant Master’s Degree
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a finance or accounting based role. Experience within the IT industry is an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a CFO or Finance Manager
- Membership with a relevant professional body is a must
- Proficiency with Excel and other accounting software
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence
- Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance related issues

Salary: ₦500,000.00 - ₦600,000.00 per month
