We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer who will manage our company's overall operations. This will include delegating and directing agendas, driving business growth, providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the company while working with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Developing high-quality business strategies and plans that are in alignment with the company’s overall short-term and long-term objectives
Driving revenue growth, profitability, and company values to ensure consistent results and exponential growth
Leading the transformation of client projects from vision to a scaled and constructed solution for African women within and outside of our community
Nurturing existing partner relationships and identifying new business opportunities with potential clients to drive growth for the business
Cultivating a high-performing and agile team culture
Driving day-to-day operations
Aligning existing resources to achieve key business goals
Owning the organizational operational budget and managing burn rate
Managing competition and threats in the marketplace, with constant evaluation of our financial structure and capital strategy
Providing expert guidance to all departments, including operations, sales, marketing and programs
Reporting strategic updates to the Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders regarding progress on quarterly goals
Being the public champion/ambassador for the business
Establishing credibility within our customer and partner network
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a successful CEO track record of growing a digital startup
+5 years of experience leading and scaling a high growth start-up, preferably within the tech space
Proven track record of scaling businesses and building high performing teams from the ground up
Sales and negotiation skills that transcend into your ability to sell an idea to an investor or a client
Experience in managing a Board of Directors and corporate stakeholders
Keen interest in technology and digital transformation
Existing network within the relevant stakeholders in the tech ecosystem
The attention span for consuming detailed information and quickly learning business and process flows.
Comfort with prioritization of work and multiple demands
Higher-level critical thinking and problem-solving appetite
Project Management skills
Resilience and a willingness to embrace challenges
Able to transition from “Doer-in-Chief” to “Company-Builder-in-Chief”

Full-time position
Hours of work:
50 hours per week, usual working hours are from 9:00am - 6:00pm WAT.
There will be a requirement from time to time to start work earlier or finish later as the role
dictates.
