Chemical Analyst at Jawa Group of Companies

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform chemical analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, titrations, and other analytical techniques.
• Ensure all tests are conducted in accordance with SOPs, GMP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and interpret results to ensure compliance with specifications, including potency, purity, pH, and other quality attributes.
• Prepare samples for analysis according to required standards and specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Maintain accurate records of all testing activities, observations, and results.
• Prepare test reports and Certificates of Analysis (COA) in line with regulatory standards.
• Review and verify results before final approval.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, NAFDAC, and company quality standards. Follow laboratory safety protocols and ensure proper handling and disposal of chemicals.
• Participate in audits and support method validation and verification. Support stability testing, method development, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Collaborate with QA and Production teams to resolve quality issues and improve laboratory efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: B.Sc./HND in Chemistry, Biochemistry.
• Experience: Experienced or inexperienced candidates with sound knowledge of key concepts will be considered.
