Chef (Specialty in Indian Cuisine) at Secom Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef with strong expertise in Indian cuisine to join our team.
• The ideal candidate must be able to prepare authentic Indian meals, maintain high standards of hygiene, and demonstrate professionalism in the kitchen.
• This role is open to qualified candidates of any nationality, provided they have proven experience cooking Indian dishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes with consistent taste and presentation
• Plan and organize daily cooking activities to meet operational needs
• Select and prepare fresh, high-quality ingredients
• Apply proper cooking techniques, recipes, and portion control standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations
• Monitor inventory and report ingredient shortages
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
• Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff
• Suggest improvements or additions to the Indian menu when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience preparing Indian cuisine
• Ability to cook a variety of Indian dishes (e.g., biryani, curries, tandoori, naan, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods
• Good hygiene and professional appearance
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Residence within or close to Isolo is an added advantage.
