Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in preparing, seasoning, and cooking dishes
• Ensure well-cooked and tasty food
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food
• Regulate oven, cooker, and grill temperatures
• Maintain proper food labeling
• Prepare ingredients for cooking
• Keep a clean and orderly kitchen environment
• Monitor stock and report orders
• Clean kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
• Maintain a presentable appearance
• Report accidents or incidents

Qualifications

• Basic education and understanding of food hygiene and safety
• Culinary certification will be an added advantage
• At least 6 months experience in a standard catering service doing similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent literacy skills
• Knowledge of quality and customer care principles
