Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure proper taste, quality, and presentation of food.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Monitor food supplies and report shortages.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
• Work effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Assist with menu preparation and development when required.
• Minimize food wastage and ensure proper portion control.
• Follow all food safety and health regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/OND; culinary training or certification is an advantage with 2-3 years experience
• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
