This is a full-time, on-site role for a character modeller at Orange VFX Studios in Lagos.
The Character Modeller will be responsible for modelling, UV unwrapping and texturing character models using tools such as ZBrush, Maya or Blender. They will primarily focus on character modelling tasks.
Qualifications
1–4 years experience in 3D Character Modeling (Junior/Mid-level)
Expertise in sculpting, retopology, and UV mapping for stylized characters
Proficiency in ZBrush, Maya or Blender software
Strong technical and artistic skills in texturing/shading, including stylized PBR workflows
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience in the film or animation industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Animation, Visual Effects, or related field is a plus
Experience working in collaborative pipelines, with the agility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced episodic production environment.
