Cashier at Ardent Universe

We are seeking a cashier for the retail store of one of our esteemed clients. You will be responsible for accurately handling transactions, and providing exceptional customer service. It is important to mention that we carry out background checks for sensitive roles like this. Applicants with criminal records are as such advised not to apply for their own good. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Assist customers with their purchases and provide product information.
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues with professionalism.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register.
• Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payments.
• Ensure that the items and prices on the customer\'s receipt match their purchases.
• Double-check and verify product codes for accurate transactions.
• Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to address customer needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.
• Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
• Living in Lekki or on the Island is an added advantage.
