    Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) Expert

    Summary

    • The CCUS Expert will lead the design, implementation, and management of carbon capture projects, focusing on innovative technologies and sustainable practices. This role requires expertise in regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to align projects with global sustainability standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the design and execution of CCUS initiatives, ensuring alignment with project goals and sustainability standards.
    • Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the technical, economic, and environmental aspects of CCUS projects.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate CCUS technologies into organisational strategies and operations.
    • Provide technical advice on the selection, deployment, and optimisation of carbon capture technologies.
    • Monitor the performance and impact of CCUS systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.
    • Develop strategies for the utilisation and storage of captured carbon to drive economic and environmental benefits.
    • Stay updated on global trends, innovations, and best practices in CCUS technologies and policy frameworks.
    • Foster partnerships with government, industry leaders, and research institutions to advance CCUS adoption.
    • Identify risks and opportunities associated with CCUS implementation and recommend mitigation strategies.

    Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
    • Masters Degree in Sustainability, Carbon Management, or Renewable Energy or related field.

    Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

    • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in carbon capture, utilisation, and storage or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of CCUS technologies, regulatory frameworks, and environmental standards.
    • Proven track record of leading CCUS projects from conception to implementation.
    • Expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and risk assessment.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
    • Familiarity with global sustainability goals and their implications for CCUS projects.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and dynamic environments.
