We are hiring for the role of a Capability Development Manager who in essence is a training professional heavyset on HR & people management skills.
This is a managerial cadre job opportunity and can be quite demanding hence the absolute need of the right skillset to be met.
This role requires a high level of subject matter expertise in these areas as well as an ability to design, deliver and lead and launch a complex range of innovative future focused L&D initiatives across all employee areas and levels.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The role would be responsible for creating and implementing training programs and overseeing the development of careers in the Sales organization. Coordinate performance, competencies and evaluates productivity in the Sales Department.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Leading and driving Omniretail internal and external capability agenda.
Develop and implement Omniretail training plans/modules for its demand & suppy team. (all levels) and embed the Omniretail way of working via on the job coaching -field and classroom training
Oversee development program for managers.
Evaluate and test competencies of the demand & supply team.
Accuracy in Vendors/ Customers weekly sales report
Develop and implement (with HR) a talent-based hiring program for the demand & supply team, ADMs, PBM , AMs, etc.
Develop and implement an induction program for demand & supply team, ADMs, PBM , AMs, etc.
Drives and monitors performance evaluation and coaching between RSMs and BDMs/AMs.
Identify the potentials of high performers and build on their strengths.
Pool best practice and train the team on how to improve KPI performance.
Establishes and evaluates metrics for assessing training effectiveness.
Analyzes and evaluates training needs/gaps on an on-going basis to keep trainings current, effective and result driven.
Develop a process for regions to reward performing SOs in conjunction with HR.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree/Certified Training qualification and /or strong evidence of ongoing relevant experience and continuous professional development.
Experience as a learning & development professional working on leadership and talent development initiatives.
