Responsibilities
- Create and follow recipes to bake cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts
- Decorate cakes according to customer specifications
- Ensure that all baked goods are baked to the correct temperature and are of the highest quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Meet deadlines and be able to work under pressure.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND / HND qualification with 2+ years relevant work experience as a cake baker
- Strong understanding of baking principles and techniques
- Excellent decorating skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Food safety and sanitation certification.
