    Business Development Team Lead

    About the Job

    The ideal candidate will expand the company's brand presence by finding the target audience to distribute marketing content to. You will create and implement the marketing strategy using both offline and online methods to gain new customers. The ideal candidate is both a self-motivated individual and a positive team player.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and research potential clients for business advancement and attainment of financial goals.

    • Develop and maintain client relationships.

    • Co-ordinate with sales team to develop mutually beneficial proposals.

    • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders in a timely manner.

    • Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.

    • Gather useful information from customer and competitor’s data.

    • Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives for review.

    • Create and implement processes and policies, subject to executive approval to facilitate the achievements of the objective of the departments.

    • Track, Identify and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline for short/medium/long-term in accordance with targets.

    • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.

    • Track and report on the status of proposal components.

    • Conduct ongoing market research for the purpose of implementation where relevant.

    • Drive the end to end sales process.

    • Prepare and submit sales contract.

    • Devising strategic plans to expand sales.

    • Finding and developing new markets and overseeing initiatives for sale improvement.

    • Developing goals for the development team and monitoring and ensuring the attainment of goals.

    • Taking ownership of the goals assigned to the department.

    • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customers drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.

    • Develop and implement outbound sales and business development strategy processes, structure and best practices across the company.

    • Brand awareness and visibility while leveraging on acquiring and maintaining strategic partnerships and influencers that will be positively instrumental to the attainment of business goals.

    • Motivate the team, track performance and report metrics to management.

    • Keeping abreast of international and cultural trends.

    • Frequent analysis of relevant data (sales, client data etc.) to make intelligent decisions for increase in profit margin)

    Qualifications

    • 1+ year of marketing experience

    • Content creation skills

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills

    • Data analysis skills

    • Social media marketing skills
