    Business Development Team Lead– Customer Engagement Solutions

    Job Purpose:

    • The Business Development Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team focused on driving sales and business growth in customer engagement solutions. This role involves developing strategies, managing team performance, fostering client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer engagement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Team Leadership & Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development executives to achieve sales targets and drive performance.
    • Set clear goals and expectations, providing ongoing coaching and support to team members.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and develop individual development plans for team members.

    Strategy Development & Execution:

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth in customer engagement solutions.
    • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and offerings.
    • Oversee the identification and qualification of new leads and sales opportunities.

    Sales & Business Development:

    • Engage with key clients and prospects to understand their customer engagement needs and present tailored solutions.
    • Manage high-value client accounts and participate in contract negotiations and closing deals.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create effective promotional strategies and materials.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to address issues and drive successful implementation of solutions.
    • Gather and analyze client feedback to enhance product offerings and services.

    Collaboration & Reporting:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical, and product development, to align on objectives and strategies.
    • Report on team performance, sales activities, and pipeline development to senior management.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote customer engagement solutions.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Team sales performance and achievement of targets
    • Number of new clients acquired and retention rates
    • Revenue growth from customer engagement solutions
    • Client satisfaction and feedback ratings
    • Market share expansion within the customer engagement sector

    Skills & Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in customer engagement or related solutions.
    • Prior experience in a leadership role, managing and developing sales teams.

    Skills:

    • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with customer engagement platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation) and relevant certifications.
