    Business Development Officer, Retail

    Our client, an integrated corporate entity providing technology, educational and office supplies, branded product distribution, garment manufacturing and humanitarian aid procurement services through contracts, wholesale, retail, and online channels require the service of *BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/ SALES EXECUTIVE* assist in planning and implementing sales strategy to extend distribution channel.

    *LOCATION – Lagos Island*

    *Job Responsibilities*

    • Promote Company’s products and services to customers and negotiate contracts with the aim of maximising profits within the region of the country.
    • Manage Client Service and Expectation
    • Identifying new markets & business opportunities to increase sales
    • Facilitates prompt delivery of supplies to meet customer timelines
    • Provides feedback to the internal stakeholders on any issue or dissatisfaction from products/services received by customers and seeks ways of rectifying them
    • Prospects potential corporate accounts using different databases, directories, and door- to door activities.
    • Follows up with customers on their specifications and provides accurate goods/services as required.

    Qualification and Requirements

    • *HND/BSc* in any Business-Related Studies
    • 5 Years work experience as *BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER* In a Garments manufacturing Company targeted at Schools, NGO’s etc.
    • Must have experience in *CORPERATE SALES* ideally within the *Retail and Ecommerce Industry*
    • Must have an entrepreneurial mind set and are performance-driven.
    • Proven experience as a corporate sales Executive or relevant role
    • Good use of Microsoft office suites
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Knowledge of sales principles and practices
    • Data entry and numeracy skills
    •
