Business Development Officer at Hope Payment Service Bank

JOB PURPOSE:            

To manage and supervise the DSE team, plan and deliver effective marketing strategies, and monitor the progress of DSEs to ensure the growth and profitability of the company. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:      

• Increase the Bank’s customer base and Account Acquisition. 
• To drive the Bank\'s deposit mobilization 
• To drive funding of accounts and transactions 
• Drive agent and merchant onboarding 
• Oversee the activities of all DSEs within the Business Development Department; provide leadership and direction. 
• Canvassing assigned territories to present Bank products to potential customers 
• Develops the capability of subordinates towards the achievement of their own performance targets 
• Promote a strong team culture. 
• To identify process gaps and suggest process changes & enablers. 
• To ensure TAT & Accuracy for enhanced customer experience

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of a university degree in Accountancy, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other relevant discipline from a reputable institution.  
• An MBA or master’s degree in any business-related discipline is an added advantage 

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 7 to 10 years post-graduation experience in Banks, Agency, or Micro Finance and Mobile Money sectors. 
• Experience working with DSE (Direct Sales Executives)
