    Business Development Officer

    Role Description

    • This is an Hybrid Business Development role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. We are seeking experienced and motivated Business Development personnel to join our team in driving growth and revenue for our (B2B) Tech sales company. As a Business Development personnel, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and closing deals. Your ability to understand our clients' needs, develop solutions, and drive business growth will be crucial to our success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and close deals.
    • Account Management: Manage existing client relationships, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensure client satisfaction.
    • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
    • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet business objectives.
    • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align sales and marketing efforts and drive business growth.
    • Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions that meet those needs.
    • Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates to the sales leadership team.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree in any discipline
    • B2B Sales Experience
    • Proven Track Record of closing Deals: 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management in the IT industry.
    • Strong Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the IT industry, including trends, technologies, and market dynamics.
    • Business Acumen: Ability to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that meet those needs.
    • Relationship Building: Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Results-Oriented: Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
    • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Experience in Public and Private Tech Sales.
